Christina K. - December 2015
Hi Peter,
I met you last Saturday at DW day in guitar center. I was the crazy blonde from Kansas City who couldn't take my eyes off of you that day. It was such a dream come true for me to meet you. I will cherish that day for the rest of my life. You and your music have been such an inspiration to me and I can't thank you enough for that.
Your wife Gigi was also such a sweetheart to me and everyone else there that day. I can see why you love her so much.
I forgot to tell you that I'm so happy you survived your cancer. You are truly a blessing to this world and will forever be the best drummer KISS ever had. And it goes without saying your the one and only Cat Man.
Love always and forever,
Krissloveskiss
P.S.
I sent a pic of my new tattoo of your name and so proud to show it. |

Patrick H. - November 2015
Hello Peter,
It was great seeing you both at the DW event a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to drop a line.
I was 13 years old, still living in the south of France, when I saw something on TV that was gonna change my life forever, stronger than any religious character or any picture I ever saw : the promo video clip for
Kiss Alive 2! I vividly remember Peter playing this humongous kit, surrounded by flames and fire, and I knew right there and then that my destiny was sealed ! I found out shortly after that Kiss came from NY, and luckily enough, I had a sister living in Brooklyn ! I became obsessed to the fact that I needed to move to NY and become a famous drummer, just like Peter! I had to wait until I turned 21 to move to the big apple and even though I didn't become a famous drummer like Peter ( I work in Real Estate ), I've been living in NY for the last 26 years thanx to Peter and Kiss ! (I also managed to be the drummer for one of the top Kiss tribute band).
I'm also a proud owner of many of Peter's memorabilia and I will always be
grateful to Peter for all the great years and for changing my life !
Long Live the Catman,
Best Regards,
Patrick H. |

Eddie C. - November 2015
Hello Mr. Criss,
My name is Eddie Conner and I'm 19 years old and from New Castle, Delaware. I recently met you last year at the All Things That Rock Festival in Philadelphia. And first of all, I forgot to tell you Congratulations on making it to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!! I always told my dad that I will never go to visit the hall of fame until Kiss gets put in there and when you guys finally did, we went and visited it that summer. I also saw you at the MMRBQ playing drums with Rob Zombie and I was front row. I could see backstage where I was and when Rob Zombie came on stage, I saw you sit down towards the side of the stage. I then screamed your name and waved at you and you turned to me and gave me a thumbs up. That moment made my whole night and I really thought that would've been the closest I've ever came to meeting you. Then a few months later I went to meet you in Philadelphia. When I met you I was a little emotional even though I didn't show it. I was emotional because as I talked to you, I saw my whole childhood flash before my eyes! All I thought was "Wow! I'm seriously talking to one of my heroes. I never thought in a million years this would happen." And I really admired how much of a kind person you were and how you really showed how much your fans mean to you. Just this Sunday I recently met Ace at the same place and it was way different. He just signed and sent me on my way. So I just wanted to say, thank you so much for taking your time to talk to me when I met you. You have no idea how much that really meant to me. And also, in 2003 when I was 7 years old I saw KISS for the first time and you were playing with them for that tour and to this day I thank god that I got to see you sing Beth live. I tell everyone about that too. That was 12 years ago and I still remember every second of that moment. I really hope you get this message and I'm hoping to hear back from you. Thank you so much for changing my life!
Sincerely,
Eddie C. |

Marc T . - November 2015
Hello, Peter:
I am an older fan, 52 years young. A drummer since the 70s. I still play and have my original set of 1969 Gretsch Red Wine Pearl drums and Zildjian cymbals. They have been fully restored and now are equipped with up-to-date hardware.
From the times I saw KISS perform in concert in the early days, I always
felt that you embodied the mystique of the band's originality. You are
probably the main reason I played for all these years. Now I am a marketing guy, working in brand development, and have a great wife and two kids married and in college.
I came across your email address on your website and wanted to say thanks. Give me a shout sometime. It would be really cool learn more about what you are doing now.
Sincerely,
Marc T.

Fernando D. - October 2015 Dear Peter Criss,
My name is Fernando, I'm 40 years old. I live in Mexico City, and I am a fan of KISS since I was 10 years old.
Furthermore, your music always encourages me. Of the 4 KISS, your stage presence has inspired me for to be better in my job.
I had been going to the KISS concerts in Mexico, but I would have liked to live the era of the 70's, and see "the original cat" with them on stage and get your autograph.
Sincerely,
Fernando D. |

Shawn O . - August 2015
Hi Pete.
Names Shawn. I have to tell ya how disappointed I was when I saw your solo album was rated last in the kiss inventory. So disappointed that I even forgot who did the rating...I've been listening to you and kiss since 1978. I was 12 at the time...your solo album I still listen to today. One of my all time favorites of all albums. Still sounds as good today as it did when I first bought all those years ago.
Thanks for the good music.
Take care.

Jim H. - August 2015
Dear Mr Criss,
I had the honor of meeting you a year ago at ComicCon Chicago. I was a big nervous doofus and you were very kind and put me at ease right away.
You seem like a genuine and sincere person and I just don’t get paul stanely’s vindictive attitude. Actually questioning your songwriting recently? Gimme a break! It’s like he’s so insecure that he has to hurt someone that dares to stand up to his bullying crap.
I love your drumming style throughout KISS, especially Rock and Roll Over, Dressed to Kill and Hotter than Hell. You and Ace tore it on these albums and the other two stole all the credit—and the lion’s share of the $$$. In the meantime, they’ve taken KISS and reduced it to a cover band—what a shame.
I have heard that you have a new album project in the works and that it will be heavier. That’s great! Actually, my two favorites of yours are Cat 1 and a contrast: One For All. I loved the jazzy, big band feel of the latter, but my favorite song was Space Ace which rocks, and has some amazing drum (and guitar) work and the end.
Will we hear news on the project soon?
Thank you for all that you’ve given and for not putting up with gene and paul’s bs.

Mark H. - August 2015 Hi Peter!
It is awesome to read that you are happy and healthy. I appreciate everything you have ever done with music and breast cancer. You are a man's man. What you do for cancer shows great strength. I have loved you since I was 10 years old. I am now 47 and a drummer myself thanks to you! I ave written many times without hearing back from you, but that is OK. I just hope you realize how much you are loved and missed. You are the one and only Catman!
I love you brother!

Devin P. - July 2015
Hello!
My name is Mickey. Long time fan. I am writing on behalf of my best friend's son, Devin. His father Billy introduced him to Kiss early on and you were his inspiration for learning to drum. His musical role model, if you will. Recently he had a school project concerning heroes . Guess who he picked? You, sir. I've enclosed his paper he turned in and the cover page for his project. He has no clue I'm sending this but hopefully you will see it. His name is Devin P.
I thank you for your time. Rock on.

Christian - May 2015 Hey Peter!
I'm just writing to tell my short story. I'm a KISS fan from Brazil, and watch an old tape from the farewell tour when I was 9 years old.
I turn out your fan on that hour! And I became a drummer because of you.
Thanks for being such an inspiration for me, of charisma, kindness and great drumming! Love you!
Attached is a pic of my old tattoo of the Catman.
All the best,

Davis - May 2015 Hey Peter,
Just wanted to thank you for sharing your stories in your book. I've read it at least 20 times. It's obvious that you're a man with a good heart that cares about others. I think that you showed real class at the RRHoF.
I would agree that Paul can't outsing you on his best day (although his voice is shot now anyhow). I love your vocals on "Baby Driver" and "Hard Luck Woman."
Anyhow, take care and best of luck. -David |

Mark G. - March 2015 Dear Peter,
I'm a big fan and an artist, I have attached a painting that I did of you. I imagine you get a lot of artwork, but I hope you like it. After Elvis, Kiss was the first music that I fell in love with, when you left at the end of the seventies it just wasn't the same, it was like the Beatles without Ringo, incomplete. I don't want to take up too much of your time, but know that your fans love you. you were the heart and soul of a band that played a large part in my youth, and I hope that each day brings you happiness.
God Bless Peter, your the best. |

Ronnie H. - March 2015 Peter:
I had hoped to get to the convention in Charlotte in March to meet you and request an autograph; but the dates conflict with my work. So won’t make it. I did want to share a photo from my high school 1977 Halloween carnival at which I, along with 3 pals, performed 3 songs as KISS. I played drums and guitar, but for this, felt compelled to be the “Cat Man”. This was at a small school in rural South Carolina, so as you can imagine, we turned quite a few heads. I did a cover of “Beth”, and later on that night, discovered the wonder of girls that liked boys that played and sang
Thanks for a lifetime of great music!
